the thing that made me brave was getting my ears pierced

  1. Kia Ora Carley,

Getting your ears pierced can be so scary so you were very brave to face your fears and get them done. I had a similar experience. I was absolutely terrified of getting them pierced because I don’t like needles. My little sister went in to get hers when she was about 12 and I was 14 and I heard the loud sound of the piercing gun and couldn’t muster the courage to get mine done. In the end, I waited until I was 17 before I was brave enough. I went in with my mum and made her hold my hand! I was surprised to learn that it wasn’t actually as bad as I had thought, my ears just became a little bit hot, but there was no pain at all! I was so proud of myself though for facing my fears!

My favourite earrings to put in now are little dangly ones. They’re rose gold coloured and have a pretty and intricate pattern on their oval shape. What are your favourite earrings to wear? Perhaps you could add a picture of them to your post. It would really add another dimension to your post and help draw your readers in with a pop of colour and visuals.

    Hei konā mai,
